it’s been to long

Hey people! It’s been too long since I’ve actually done a blog so I thought I would feel ya’ll in to what’s going on in Aprilslife. College has started. It’s been pretty busy with helping Steven apply for college and the actives we’re involved in. This year I’m involved in SGA (student government). That has been fun! 🙂 I’ve never been involved in SGA before so this is all new to me, but so far it has been great. I’ve gotten involved with Wesley this year. I involved in Wesley last year but not as well as I should have been. Sadly, I can’t attended BSU (Baptist Student Union) due to classes. We, also, taken year book photos a few weeks back. Between classes, Wesley, and SGA things have been pretty crazy. But, it’s all good though. lol

Isaiah 10:1-4

Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue, oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. what will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches? Nothing will remain but to cringe  among the captives or fall among the slain. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.

Isaiah10:1-4

Last night a friend posted these questions on my wall and I thought I’ll share these with you. Think about them before you answer them.

Some Question to thing about:
1. The sincere Catholic who sorrowfully tries to pay for his sins by whipping himself while crawling for twenty miles, then having himself crucified at the end – does his sincerity save him?
 2. The sincere Buddhist who chants sutra verses of repentance or ksamayati because of what he has done in three karmas (body, speech and mind) – does his sincerity save him?
 3. T…he sincere Baptist who is really sorry for his sins, weeps laboriously, runs to the altar, falls prostrate and begs for God’s forgiveness (but not trusting in Christ) – does his sincere begging save him?
4. Before you were saved, was there at least one time you felt sad or sorry for your sins? How about Twice or ten times? did you get saved during those times?
 5. Before you were saved, was there at least one time you felt angry about your sins? how about twice or ten times? did you get saved during those times?
6. According to Romans 2:4, it it the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance?
7. Does the wickedness of his sin lead the lost man to repentance?
8. Is feeling sad, sorry or angry about sin a requirement for salvation or is it a product or fruit of salvation?
 9. Is Jesus Christ’s finished and perfect work for salvation sufficient for you? 10. Multiple choice: I believe that Jesus Christ’s finished and perfect work for salvation plus _________________ is sufficient for me.
 a. church membership,
 b. water baptism,
 c. good works,
d. feeling sorry for my sins,
e. being angry of sin,
 f. praying
g. nothing else.

Prom

So, anyways it’s been awhile since I’ve done a blog like this.(There’s really nothing much going on in my senior year) 😦 But here’s one of the few things is going on (or about to anyway) lol So, prom’s coming up and I’m excited! This is the first formal thing I’ll get to do. Even though is not til next month I’m already getting nervous. Because I’m really not sure what to expect I mean yes I’ll see the same people I see everyday all dress up, but other than that I don’t know what to expect. But, I know both me and my date will have an awesome time and I’ll get great pictures for my scrapbook.  And I’ll blog about how prom was.(seeing how I really didn’t do many senior year blogs) I’ll see ya’ll then. Later!

Michaele SalahiI Take The 5th on Adultery

http://www.tmz.com/2012/01/15/michaele-salahi-neal-schon-tareq-salahi/

Michaele Salahi

will neither confirm nor deny she banged Journey guitarist Neal Schon behind her husband’s back … this according to new legal docs.

Turns out, adultery is a CRIME in Virginia … and if Michaele admits that she slept around with Schon while she was married to Tareq Salahi, she could be punished by the law.

So, instead of responding to the adultery accusations Tareq included in his divorce filing — Michaele has now filed documents in which she “asserts her privilege pursuant to the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution not to respond.”

Additionally, admitting to adultery could put Michaele at a serious disadvantage in her divorce proceedings — because as we first reported, the couple’s pre-nup stipulates … if Michaele commits adultery, she gets zilch for spousal support.

Sources close to Michaele tell TMZ, she’s not concerned — because Michaele was already separated from Tareq when she started dating Neal. The couple celebrated their four-month anniversary on Friday.

For the record — the crime of adultery in Virginia is considered a misdemeanor, punishable by a $250 fine.

Senior Prom

So, anyways prom is coming up in April. This is the first dance I’ll be going to and I’m little nervous. I just don’t know what to expect. I just hope that I don’t trip and fall on my face on the dance floor and that the movie Carrie is after all a movie. lol So, it’s your turn tell me what to expect or tell me the do’s and don’t of prom and please like.

Laters!
