it’s been to long

Hey people! It’s been too long since I’ve actually done a blog so I thought I would feel ya’ll in to what’s going on in Aprilslife. College has started. It’s been pretty busy with helping Steven apply for college and the actives we’re involved in. This year I’m involved in SGA (student government). That has been fun! ūüôā I’ve never been involved in SGA before so this is all new to me, but so far it has been great. I’ve gotten involved with Wesley this year. I involved in Wesley last year but not as well as I should have been. Sadly, I can’t attended BSU (Baptist Student Union) due to classes. We, also, taken year book photos a few weeks back. Between classes, Wesley, and SGA things have been pretty crazy. But, it’s all good though. lol

College Life: Wesley and BSU

Since I’ve been in college I became involved in two organization. One is Wesley. Wesley is a christian organization that provides free meals to college students and shares the Gospel. The other is BSU. BSU does the same thing that Wesley does the only difference ,at least at my school, is that there are different speakers. Both of there organizations are really fun to attend. ūüôā I recmend that everone attends both. Hope to see you there!

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, butset an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

I Timothy 4:12

As you can tell from the title I’m going to talk about online classes and why I’m not going to take them again. When I first signed up for my classes I found out that the only way I could take one of my classes, which just so happened to be my major, is if I sign up for the online class. What I didn’t know was how stressful taking an online class would be for me. I would drop the class, but I can’t now and I like seeing things through to the end. The one good thing about online classes, however, is that you don’t take many tests,¬†which is good. The bad thing about¬†tests though you have to schedule¬†to¬†a certain time to take it with in a certain time, and if you don’t schedule¬†it¬†soon enough you may not be able to take it where you want to take it. Like me for example¬†I wanted to take¬†my test at the campus I’m at but I couldn’t because I didn’t schedule¬†my test soon enough and I had to go to a different campus just to take the test.¬† My¬†advice to all of you who is thinking about taking an online class is that you should consider is it really for you. Do you get stressed easy or do you prefer face to face interaction? Because if you do then online classes aren’t for you.¬†Just take whatever classes feel comfortable to you and enough your time in college because it’ll fly by fast.

the school year is almost over

Hey everyone! So it’s almost that time of the year again. The end of the school year. It’s a relief that it’s about to end, but bittersweet in away.¬† Mostly because this is my last year of high school and the fact that I really didn’t much during my four years of high school. I know that many of you will think that it’s weird for me to say that, but it’s the truth. I know I should be happy and everything, but a part of me feels kindof sad to be leaving.¬† I have many wonderful memories that I know I’ll remember for the rest of my life, and I’vwe made many friends that I’ll miss.(most of them are underclassmen).¬†But, I know that everything will be ok. I start college in August with a couple of friends and I know that’ll be fun. I’ll keep ya’ll post on more senior stuff and I’ll possible do a series on college life. Later!

updates, updates, and more updates

So here’s another installment to my senior year serious. Ok, seeing how prom is over and done with it’s now time to move on to other things such as graduation.¬†There’s a lot to tell so let’s get started. ¬†We first have finals on May 9-11 so for some seniors(those who are doing less than stellar already) have to pass. We’re taking our exams earlier than the underclassmen because the very next week we start graduation practice. We will our last report card on May 15th to find out if we get to graduate.¬† We’ll have practice everyday up until May 18, which is the day of graduation. But before all that for those seniors who attend church with me have Graduate Sunday next Sunday. We have to be in Sunday school if we plan on attending, and after church serves that day we have a luncheon to attend. We don’t have to attend that but I think mist everyone is going to attend that. (I may do a separate blog about that) But, back to graduation. We get our cap and gown on May 17. We may have another practice that day but I’m not sure yet. After graduation we have to go to the¬†lunch room¬†to pick up our diploma and return our cap and gown. Well that’s what’s going on here¬†over the next several weeks. I hope to do more blogs soon before I official graduate. So be look for that and I hope I’ll get to see you soon. Later!

writing on the wall

Now we’ve all seen writing on bathroom walls before. Normally they’re nothing but people bashing other people for whatever reason they¬† may have, but today I was looking at what someone had put on the bathroom wall awhile ago. And it read ”¬†John 3:16, Jesus loves you always. You better believe it.” When I first saw this I was really glad that somebody had put something other than hateful words, but over time I began to realize that whoever wrote this had the courage to actual write this where everyone can see this. Not only because they’ll get in trouble for writing on the walls but for not caring if they offend anyone. I see¬†Bible verse and saying¬†almost every time I go to the restroom at school and what amazes me is that even though that someone tried to wash it off it’s still there. God obviously¬†wants us to know this. ¬†So the next time I see something positive on the restroom walls I’ll stop and take a look.¬†Laters.

“For God so loved the world that he sent his own son for whoever believes in¬† him shall not die but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Senior Prom

So,¬†anyways prom is coming up in April. This is the first dance I’ll be going to and I’m little nervous. I just don’t know what to expect. I just hope that I don’t trip and fall on my face on the dance floor and that the movie Carrie is after all a movie. lol So, it’s your turn tell me what to expect or tell me the do’s and don’t of prom and please like.

Laters!

update senior year

Hello everyone. Happy early Christmas. I haven’t done a post in a while¬†so I thought it would be good to do¬†one now. Everything is ok here. My birthday came and went. Thanksgiving was So this blog really isn’t on anything special.(Even though it is an update) The only things going on right now is that I have to take the ACT this Saturday, and of course Christmas is coming too. The only down side is the Christmas parade has been moved to next week so that’s a bummer. ūüė¶ But oh well! Hopefully I’ll get some topics for some more blogs and I’ll get back to ya’ll soon hopefully. Merry Christmas. Later. ūüôā

the 6th grade

The sixth grade wasn’t my best year. My grades weren’t as well as they could have been. Part of the reason was yea I was slacking off, but part of it was the fact I was being bullied. It wasn’t just one or two people doing it was pretty much the whole class doing it. I didn’t want to go to school because I knew that somebody was going to say something bad about me. To this day I don’t know why they did what they did. Maybe because I was the quiet one. Today it’s still going on yea but it’s calmed down some, but the my time in the sixth grade wont easily forgotten.¬† If you or somebody you know is being bullied don’t just stand there do something. Tell somebody you trust.¬† You’re not being a tattle tail if you turn the bully in. After that find ways to rebuild your self esteem up, like spending time with ur friends and family or doing something your good at. Just stay posititve.

Laters guys
